Hello Backers, 

Here is the latest information on shipping.

EU region - Shipping has not begun. It is unclear to me whether or not GamesQuest has the games (though it's likely they do, as I have not been charged any storage fees for the freight shipping). Twice I've been told they would get back to me and I have not received a response either time. 

I'm sorry to bring the bad news again. It's very frustrating to not know what's going on with 6,000 units of goods. I have been put into the ShipQuest system and all the paperwork is signed off, so it's a matter of getting confirmation that they have my games and are ready to ship them out. 

I will post an update when I get new information.

North America -  Shipping has not begun. My last correspondence with the shipping company from October 31st, stated that the cargo would be delivered "by tomorrow or Friday". I have not heard word since. 

These are the kind of messages I get which make me want to continually wait just one more day before I do an update because I'm sure about to get clearer information. But it doesn't happen and I still need to update you all. 

I will post an update when I get new information. 

Australia/NZ - I've finally been put into the AetherShip shipping system which should allow me up send out orders individually. This will allow me to better assist those of you in this region that have missing packages. 

Asia - I'm still waiting for confirmation of the bulk orders for this region. They have the details but have not shipped the bulk orders yet. I've been gathering missing orders to send to VFI for replacement shipment in bulk, however, some regions that were previously Asia will have to wait for the NA shipment, as at this point, it will be safer to ship from the US.

That's all I have for now. I will continue to post bi-weekly updates as shipping continues, with instant updates as new information becomes available for the regions still waiting. I'm as eager to get all these games shipped and into your hands as you all are!

Greetings Backers, 

I bring updated news for each region. This might not be the news you wanted, but hang in there as we're in the final stretch in all of this. The most updated information that I have:

EU Region - Backer information has been processed. Shipping has not begun.   

I wish I had more information here. From my seat, the process has been moving forward as they've received the games, I've paid the initial payments, signed the contracts, and have been entered into their ShipQuest fulfillment system where I can track orders. However, nothing has been shipped yet and I have not been given a date on when to expect games to ship. I want to stress that at this current point, it is not fault of GamesQuest as the games were delayed in getting to GamesQuest (I can sadly verify this as I've had to pay high storage costs at the freight dock). Please understand that I will post an update as soon as I have word on orders shipping.

North America - Not yet shipping - QuarterMaster Logistics does not have the games. The discharge date was 10/18 but after my last email, that date was meant to sound like the ETA to port. Yesterday, the latest reply from the logistics group responsible for delivery from port to fulfillment center was thus: 

"Hi Tony,  

No storage fee because shipment has not arrived into Warehouse yet and im working on custom clearance at the moment and will send you invoice shortly. Thanks  

Best regards"

(I inquired about the shipment with concerns over storage fees that I had to pay for the UK shipment). I will post an update as soon as I have word on orders shipping.

Australia/NZ - All orders have been shipped by Aetherworks. If you are in this region and have not received your order, please send me a message through Kickstarter that includes your region and whether you backed on KS or were a Late Backer via BackerKit.

Asia and Other - All orders (except bulk/retailer) have been shipped by VFI. If you are in this region and have not received your order, send me a message through Kickstarter that includes your region and whether you backed on KS or were a Late Backer via BackerKit. Bulk and retailer orders have not shipped yet. For these orders, you should receive an email from VFI when your games ship. 

If you sent me a message about a missing order and did not get a reply. Please try again as it may have gotten lost. Make sure to send the message through this campaign and not as a general Kickstarter message (see previous update). Including your region in the message will help me out tremendously!

I will continue to post bi-weekly updates as shipping continues, with interspersed region-specific updates as new information becomes available.  If you've already got the game, I still recommend staying subscribed to updates for new developments.

The Long Way Home Availability

The current release date for The Long Way Home RPG is Oct 31st. I'm open to feedback from people now that the games are looking like they won't arrive in time to the NA and EU regions. Would you guys want to wait for the bulk of backers to get the game before it releases? Would you like to be able to print it early in anticipation of the game? Let me know your thoughts.

Also I want people to know that The Long Way Home will be distributed under the creative commons license CC BY-SA 4.0. While the RPG will be available exclusively through a backer-only link, you are free to share the file and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Hello backers!

Here is the latest information for each region:  

EU Region - Addresses have been locked. Games have arrived at the GamesQuest fulfillment center. Backer information has been processed. Shipping has not begun. I will post when I have a shipping date for EU region.    

North America (United States, Canada, Mexico, Cayman Islands, Puerto Rico) - Shipping addresses have been locked. The games have arrived at the dock in Florida. The games will have to be unloaded and shipped to QuarterMaster Logistics, which is also in Florida. The discharge ETA is 10/18. 

Asia and Other - All orders (except bulk/retailer) have been shipped by VFI. If you are in this region and have not received your order by the end of next week, send me a message through Kickstarter that includes your region and whether you backed on KS or were a Late Backer via BackerKit.

Greetings backer!

It looks like some backers in the Australia region have begun receiving their copies of Deep Space D-6. Please post pictures, session reports, and thoughts- but please be mindful of spoiling the expansion!

Here is the latest information for each region:  

Australia/NZ - All orders have been shipped by Aetherworks. If you are in this region and have not received your order by the end of next week, send me a message through Kickstarter. 

EU Region - Addresses have been locked. Games have already departed via freight. VESSEL: TOLEDO TRIUMPH/0998-007W. Estimated arrival to GamesQuest fulfillment center: Oct 6th.

North America - Games have already departed via freight. VESSEL: MSC ROMA /836E. Estimated arrival to QuarterMaster logistics fulfillment center: Oct 14th

Reminder: North American addresses will be locked Oct 2nd. You can change your address until that point by going to your BackerKit profile. 

Asia and Other - fulfillment is still underway by VFI to complete this week. Most packaged should deliver in 7-14 days.

Replacement Parts

It's rare but it happens. If your copy of Deep Space D-6 is missing any components, I will do my best to send replacement parts. At the moment, I do not yet have 2nd edition replacement parts. They will be arriving with the NA shipment. Once I receive them, I will create a web form for anyone to fill out if they are missing any parts.

The Long Way Home Release Date

The Long Way Home RPG supplement is expected to be released Oct 31. This date is to allow me to give it some finishing touches, as well as give more people time to receive the game and become familiar with it's gameplay mechanics.
